"Celebrants in France" are a group of independent wedding officiants based in SW France. We offer couples the chance to have a personal wedding ceremony which reflects their personal values and beliefs (humanist / non-religious / secular), within a romantic setting in France,
We will work with you in a friendly and caring way that puts you at ease, so that you can enjoy the process as well as the big occasion. All of us are committed to providing you with an unforgettable wedding ceremony.
Christine Davidson
Christine is a celebrant with a truly international perspective and high level of cultural sensitivity. She has an exotic mix of Scottish, Russian and German ancestry and lived in Iran, Australia, England, Scotland, Wales before settling in France.
Christine creates and delivers her ceremonies as if they were for her own children, sharing in the journey, caring about their feelings and being privileged to add to the joy of the couple's most precious day.

"Getting married in France was an easy decision, our love of good food and wine made it an obvious choice. It did feel a bit of a gamble asking a complete stranger to conduct our wedding celebration, but as soon as the emails started flowing, we knew we were in safe hands with Christine. And on the day itself, with the threat of rain looming, Christine arrived with the voice of calm, reason and a glint in her eye! The service itself was playful and heartfelt, and many people commented on how moving it was and what a good reflection of our personalities. We had an incredible weekend and getting the right person to conduct our service was a crucial component. So, massive thanks Christine, we look forward to cracking open the Bordeaux in 10 years!

Firstly its xmas eve and everyone else is spending time with family, but you embarked on a 5 hour train ride , each way. Not only was almost Christmas, but it was also at a time when all transport was almost at a standstill due to heavy snowfalls throughout the country and Europe.
